Sanse Takes Orlando
WEB DEVELOPMENT, CREATIVE DESIGN & SOCIAL MEDIA
CLIENT INTRODUCTION
Sanse Orlando is an annual Puerto Rican Festival taking place in Orlando, Florida. This 2-day celebration happens in January.
It is based on the historical Puerto Rican event, “Las Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastian”, aka “Sanse” (short for San Sebastian). An event that began in 1954, named after the Catholic Saint and originally focused on raising funds for the church, it eventually got cancelled.
n the 1970’s the festival was re-started in old San Juan, where it expanded into historical proportions, consisting of music, arts, dancing, and the famous large headed characters or “cabezudos”. Today, the Puerto Rican festival is known as the closing celebration of the longest holiday season in the world, and it receives thousands of visitors.

Sanse Orlando approached The Room Marketing with the intention of raising awareness of their festival by connecting to the Puerto Rican community in Florida.
